Don’t put College Area at risk of being the next Altadena – San Diego Union-Tribune

Re “So much for concern over ‘two San Diegos” (Nov. 12) by Danna Givot: For heaven’s sake, city planners — you want to triple density in the officially designated Very High Fire Hazard College Area, where there’s no fire station and where evacuation during last year’s Montezuma fire was extremely challenging?

We don’t want to be the Palisades or Altadena. Please reconsider and plan for the safety of our communities instead.
