The Society for Experiential Graphic Design (SEGD) will host its 2025 Conference Experience in San Francisco from 13 – 15 November. This year’s theme, Designing Possible Futures, invites the global design community to explore how experience design can create more caring, equitable, and adaptable environments.

Programme

Across three days, delegates will hear from over 20 speakers working at the intersection of culture, technology, equity, and play. Sessions will look at how design can transform spaces and communities while respecting history and identity. Speakers include:

Attendees can take part in guided design tours around the city, visiting creative spaces such as SFMOMA, the Exploratorium, Salesforce Park, and the Letterform Archive. Other visits include the Eames Institute, Arion Press, and a Mission District murals tour, offering a closer look at how design connects culture, history, and innovation.

Connect and Celebrate

The conference also features special events, including the President’s Reception and Auction for Excellence, the Global Design Awards Ceremony, and the Achievement Awards and mimosa toast on Saturday. The event ends with a closing celebration bringing together attendees from across the design world.
