Union Pacific investigates cargo theft just outside of Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Union Pacific Railroad Company is investigating a cargo theft that happened just outside of Bakersfield near Comanche Drive Wednesday morning.

Officials with Union Pacific told 17 News, special agents worked with the Kern County Sheriff’s Office to investigate a cargo theft that happened around 10:30 a.m.

Two people were arrested, according to officials.
