Sacramento police are investigating a collision involving a man hit by a vehicle on Wednesday night. Officers responded to the report of a pedestrian struck around 9:15 p.m. at the intersection of Fruitridge and Power Inn roads. KCRA 3 was at the scene and saw Fruitridge Road blocked by police cruisers and officers appeared to be conducting a field sobriety test. Sacramento police have not shared any details about the man struck, including the extent of their injuries or if they were taken to an area hospital. Officials said the driver stayed at the scene.
