What to KnowLos Angeles Auto Show 2025Los Angeles Convention CenterNov. 21-30$25 Any Day Ticket; other ticketing tiers are available
Los Angeles Auto Show 2025: Ten auto-strong days, major makers, imaginative innovators, and the fans who adore a truly tremendous vehicle will rev up this famous car convention, which opens Nov. 21 at the Los Angeles Convention Center and rolls through the rest of November. Want to take a test drive or go for a spin? “More than 50 vehicles” will be part of the you-try-it fleet. Check out some of the dream machines on view, how to get there, and the tips you need (oh yes, it’s open Thanksgiving Day, too).
LA on Wheels Day: The theme of the weekend is most definitely movement, velocity, going places, and getting there, wherever your “there” is. Look to the Natural History Museum, which will embrace our city’s wheel-focused interests, from cars to bicycles to skates. Skating demos are on the itinerary at the Nov. 22 event, and cars and bikes on display, and vendors, and a documentary, and a slide show, too. Most goings-on are part of your museum admission but do check out everything before you wheel by.
CicLAvia + “Stranger Things”: Quite seriously, and for real, we did mean this is an on-the-move weekend for Los Angeles. The next effervescent example? CicLAvia, that beloved open streets spectacular, is welcoming cyclists and pedestrians to Melrose Avenue Nov. 23 for a free day of pedals, hobnobbing, and “Stranger Things” love. The Netflix series is pedaling into its fifth and final season, and the event will honor its supernaturally popular run.
Great Los Angeles Walk: Are you into the weekend’s go-forward vibes but want to do so without a bike or car? Look to this long-running LA-loving event, which finds a group of urban adventurers hoofing it over several miles. The happening, which was founded by writer and LA booster Mike Schneider, is turning 20 in 2025. The route? Wonderful Wilshire Boulevard, which is where the community perambulation began. Get the meet-up info, and all the must-knows for the Nov. 22 walk, here.
Doo Dah Takeover: The outlandish, do-whatever-the-heck-you-like Pasadena parade is not happening in 2025, but a non-parade celebration most definitely is. Strut your way to Dog Haus in Pasadena, and/or Old Towne Pub, for Doo-Dah-ish entertainment, merriment, and the crowning of the Doo Dah Queen. Music, speeches, photos, costumes, and eccentric flair will play starring roles, because of course. It’s all Doo-Dah-ing Nov. 23.
