BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects connected to an attempted burglary of an ATM in southwest Bakersfield.

BPD said on August 29, 2025, the suspects tried to break into an external ATM at the Valley Strong Credit Union located at 3300 Buena Vista Road.

The first suspect is described as a man between 6′ and 6’5″ tall, with a heavy build, last seen wearing black sunglasses, a black facemask, a black beanie, white gloves, and gray coveralls.

The second suspect is described as a man, between 5’5″ and 5’7″ tall, last seen wearing a white facemask, black gloves, a black beanie, and dark blue coveralls with a white stripe on both arms and legs, and white lettering on the back.

The suspected vehicle is a mid-2000s white Ford Expedition with white door handles and trim, no license plates, a black roof rack, and taillights and wheels covered with black tape.
