BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two men who allegedly attempted to break into an ATM at a Valley Strong Credit Union.

The alleged incident was reported at the external ATM at the Valley Strong Credit Union in the 3300 block of Buena Vista Road Aug. 29.

One of the suspects is described as 6 feet to 6 feet, 5 inches tall with a heavy build. Police said at the time of the incident he was wearing black sunglasses, a black face mask, a black beanie, white gloves and gray coveralls.

The second suspect is described as 5 feet, 5 inches to 5 feet, 7 inches tall. Police said at the time of the incident he was wearing a white face mask, black gloves, a black beanie and dark coveralls with one white stripe on both arms and legs and white lettering on the back.

The suspect vehicle was described as a mid-2000s white Ford Expedition with white door handles and trim, and a black roof rack. Police said the vehicle did not have license plates and the taillights and wheels were covered with black tape.
