The Fullerton Museum Center is set to celebrate its grand reopening on Saturday, Nov. 22, following a significant renovation funded by a long-awaited $4.5 million state grant. This initiative not only pays homage to the museum’s rich history but also paves the way for its future.

Despite being confined to a mobility scooter due to a foot injury and complications from surgery, Executive Director Elvia Rubalcava remains a pivotal force in the museum’s revitalization. Her determination, along with the dedication of the museum’s staff, volunteers, and board members, has propelled the center into a new chapter of success.

In 2025, the museum achieved its most successful exhibition to date, showcasing the successful outcomes of both the renovation and the leadership behind it. The enhancements made to the facility promise to enrich the visitor experience and cement the center’s role as a cultural hub in the community.
