Person dies in hospital after shooting in Sacramento, police say

(FOX40.COM) — A man is dead after an afternoon shooting in Sacramento on Friday afternoon, according to the Sacramento Police Department.

Around 2:45 p.m., SPD responded to reports of a shooting in the 900 block of Harris Avenue. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man with at least one gunshot wound. SPD said he was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made, and the incident remains under investigation.
