BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Although the rain storm came to an end in Kern County earlier this week, multiple roads remained closed as locals geared up to travel for their Thanksgiving holiday.
According to Kern County Public Works, Adobe Rd. and Edison Rd. closed on Friday due to flooding.
The page also reported Tehachapi Willow Springs Rd. and Cuddy Valley Rd. reopened on Friday.
CHP Mojave posted on social media on Saturday that there are several road closures, including Redrock Randsburg Rd.
They advised drivers to use alternate routes and to not go around road close signs. They also want to remind drivers to drive responsibly.
