BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Metropolitan Real Estate is set to host its First Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway on Nov. 24, 2025, at 101 H St., Bakersfield, starting at 11 a.m.
The event, which will continue while supplies last, aims to give back to the community.
The celebration will feature music and traditional Latino food and drinks, including pozole, tamales, and champurrado, all offered free of charge.
The first 100 families will receive a take-home bag with a turkey and extra treats. A total of 100 turkeys will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
