The Los Angeles Police Department Bomb Squad was investigating a Studio City residence on Sunday after reports of a possible explosive device.
Officers responded to the home on Morse Avenue near Moorpark Street after receiving a call around noon, according to the LAPD.
During the investigation, police found World War II-era hand grenades, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. It’s unclear how many grenades were recovered.
A perimeter of the neighborhood was shut down as the investigation continued.
