A thief posing as a delivery person in San Francisco’s Mission Dolores neighborhood made off with a victim’s phone, laptop and $11 million in cryptocurrency, according to a police report obtained by the Chronicle.
The robbery occurred around 6:45 a.m. Saturday at a home near 18th and Dolores streets.
Police say the courier ruse ended when the thief brandished a gun and proceeded to tie up the victim with duct tape.
