A residential burglary turned into a homicide in San Francisco’s Ingleside neighborhood Sunday afternoon, police said.
Officers responded to a report about the burglary around 3 p.m. on Granada Avenue, south of Ocean Avenue, where they found the victim, police said.
Police said the victim suffered injuries but did not elaborate.
Officers and paramedics rendered aid, including CPR, but the victim died at the scene, police said.

Police did not disclose the victim’s name, age or gender, except to say the victim was an adult. It was not clear whether the victim was a resident or a suspect in the alleged burglary.
No arrests were made as of Sunday night. Police did not provide further details.
