(FOX40.COM) — The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office is asking for help from the community in identifying a Jane Doe.

According to the coroner’s office, on March 21, 2021, the decedent was found on the shore of the Sacramento River in Isleton. The body was found in a state of decomposition. A blue jacket with blue and white plaid lining was observed around her neck. A sock was noted on her left foot.

SCCO reported that despite a thorough search of the area, no personal identifying papers or items were found.

After examining the body, SCCO said she appeared to be of Caicaisuia or Hispanic descent with an estimated age range of 30-60 years old. The decedent had no tattoos or identifiable scars and is 5 feet tall and weighed around 100 pounds.

The Sacramento coroner’s office stated she had medium-length black and grey curly hair, her eyes appeared brown in color and her teeth were in good condition. However, due to the condition of the body, the office is unable to obtain fingerprints.
