CLOVIS, Calif. (KFSN) — Christmas has begun in Clovis and other parts of the valley.
Sid’s Christmas Trees opened up for the season last week on Herndon and Villa.
The owner has been in the Christmas tree business for 47 years.
Through the years, he’s gained several loyal customers, “I got one customer who brought an album because they’ve been buying trees from me for years, oh my god they’re on their third generation now so that tells me about myself I’m getting up there but that was wonderful to see their kids and now their grandkids, it’s great to see that,” he says.
Sid’s trees come from Salem, Oregon, which he visits in September to pick which ones he wants to bring to California.
He typically gets a stock of 4,000 trees.
He also provides lots of tips to customers to ensure their tree lasts in their home.
Sid’s Christmas Trees is open through December 24.
