BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Kern County Coroner’s Office has identified the man killed after being shot inside a home as 23-year-old Angel Preciado of Bakersfield.

The Kern County Sheriff’s Office said on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at around 9:10 p.m., deputies were called to the 2700 block of Center Street for a reported shooting.
When deputies arrived, they found Preciado inside the home.
Medical personnel pronounced him dead.

Homicide detectives were called to the scene and assumed the investigation.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
