BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying a man with an “Edgar” style haircut, accused of stealing a vehicle in central Bakersfield.

Police said on November 23, 2025, at around 10 p.m., a man allegedly stole the victim’s vehicle in central Bakersfield.

The man is described to be 20 to 30 years old, with an “Edgar” style haircut, according to police.

According to reports online, an Edgar-style haircut is a short, sharp, straight-lined haircut that became popular among younger men, especially in Southwestern parts of the United States.

He was last seen wearing a black shirt with a white writing design in the victim’s vehicle.

Police said the vehicle has been recovered.
