BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s help with identifying a woman, accused of breaking into a car, using the garage door opener to get into the garage, while wearing a monkey face mask.

Police said it happened on August 29th, 2025, several people forced entry into the victim’s vehicle and used the garage door opener from the vehicle to access the garage in the 9400 block of Red Rock Creek Way.

One of the suspects is described as a woman of unknown race, wearing a long-sleeved shirt, jeans, a face mask of a monkey on her face, and a head covering.

Police said the suspect’s vehicle was a possible early 2000’s Honda CRV hatchback SUV, white in color with black trim.
