BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The father of seven-month-old Emmanuel Haro, Jake Mitchell Haro, is currently being housed at Wasco State Prison after being sentenced 25 years to life for the murder of his baby in Southern California.
The Riverside County District Attorney’s Office said Jake Mitchell Haro and his wife, Rebecca Renee Haro, were arrested on August 22 when investigators with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department determined the couple fabricated claims that their infant was abducted amid a surprise attack in a Yucaipa parking lot.
