BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — One person was killed Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision in McFarland, police said.
The crash occurred around 1 p.m. at the intersection of Elmo Highway and Kendrea Street, according to a McFarland Police Department release sent shortly after 2 p.m.
One of the drivers died at the scene, police said. His name will be released by coroner’s officials.
No arrests had been made and the investigation was ongoing, police said. The release asked motorists to avoid the area.
