The Los Angeles Rams continued their march toward the playoffs Sunday in a matchup with the Carolina Panthers in Charlotte, but things didn’t go according to plan. It was their first road game since Week 10 and they looked like a team that wasn’t ready for what Carolina had to throw at them.
Having won six in a row, the Rams were looking to pad their lead in the NFC with a win, instead giving away the top seed to the Chicago Bears with a stunning 31-28 loss. Here’s a recap of how the Rams collapsed against the Panthers and suffered a painful loss on the road.
Hear what Sean McVay and Matthew Stafford said after the Rams’ loss to Carolina.
The Panthers hung on to beat the Rams, 31-28, pulling off the stunning upset at home over the red-hot Rams.
