Firefighters Put Out KTown Apartment Fire in 11 Minuted

It took 11 minutes Monday morning for firefighters to put out a fire in a Koreatown apartment.

The fire was reported at 4:02 a.m. Monday in Apartment 307 of the pre-1933 building at 118 N Westmoreland Ave. at First Street, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Jennifer Middleton.

Light smoke was showing when firefighters arrived, she said.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation, Midddleton said.
