FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — The Fresno Police Department has confirmed with Action News that the Uber driver who was shot in the head on Thanksgiving has been released from the hospital.

The shooting happened around 8:15 p.m. on South Tupman Street in Southwest Fresno.
When officers arrived on scene, they found the 40-year-old victim in his car.
Police say the Uber driver was just doing his job, picking up a passenger, when an altercation happened before he was shot.
No suspect information has been released and the case is still under investigation.
