SAN FRANCISCO—Mayor Daniel Lurie strode into Alushe Coffee Bar and asked the surprised couple behind the counter for two things: a cup of joe and if they could say a few words into his iPhone.
“Tell everybody about the specialties,” the mayor said to Jessica and Marcos Moo, who smiled shyly as he started recording. “We specialize in craft lattes…we have breakfast burritos,” Marcos said, with the beaming mayor chiming in “Oh boy!”
