Local events support farmworkers and job seekers

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Kern County Employers’ Training Resource is hosting multiple events to support job seekers in our area.

Their Annual Farmwork Appreciation Day and Resource Fair is happening on December 10 at the Kern Agricultural Pavilion.

The event starts at 9 a.m. and is open to all farm workers.

A hiring event will also be happening for Redwood Senior Living on December 16 at AJCC Lake Isabella.

They will be hiring cooks, registered nurses, medication techs and caregivers.
