Beginning December 3, the Fullerton Public Library will implement a new Autorenewal system designed to enhance convenience for its patrons. This innovative feature allows most library items to be automatically renewed up to two times without any action required by users, effectively reducing the risk of late returns.
Library officials highlight that the move aims to provide a more user-friendly experience, giving patrons additional time to enjoy their favorite materials and minimizing the hassle of managing return dates. However, it’s important to note that certain items, including new DVDs, WiFi hotspots, and materials that are on hold for other patrons, will not be included in the Autorenewal program.
For those who have provided their email addresses, the library will send renewal notifications to keep users informed of their account status. Library account information is readily accessible at fullertonlibrary.org, or patrons can call 714-738-6334 during regular service hours for assistance.
This new feature reflects the library’s commitment to improving accessibility and convenience for its community members. For more details about the Autorenewal program, residents can visit fullertonlibrary.org/autorenewal.
