Following the arrest of a 32-year-old rapper and social-media personality suspected of committing at least two sexual assaults, police on Wednesday were seeking additional potential victims.
Detectives from the West Bureau Special Assault Section released a photo of Clinton Adams, who was taken into custody Nov. 19, in hopes of encouraging additional victims to come forward, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Adams was described as 6-foot-1, weighing 170 pounds, with brown eyes and dreadlocks.
Detectives determined after investigating that Adams, on two separate occasions, met two female victims and invited them to a residence where he allegedly sexually assaulted them. A police detective said the residence Adams took the women to was a Pacific Palisades home left vacant due to the Palisades Fire, telling the women it was his own.
“Both victims came forward to report the sexual assaults and identified Adams by name,” police said in a statement.
Police said Adams is known on social media platforms under the username “Clintnlord,” but it was unclear if he targeted the two women or other potential victims online. Adams has more than 376,000 followers on Instagram alone.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office filed three counts of rape by use of force against Adams, along with an additional count of assault with the intent to commit a felony, police said.
Adams was being held on $1.42 million bail. He has pleaded not guilty and is expected back in court Monday, according to court records.
Anyone who may have been victimized by Adams or may have additional information about the alleged assaults was urged to call the LAPD Operations West Bureau Special Assault Section at 213-473-0420.
