True freshman Delilah Vega-Aguilar appeared in all 19 matches this past season for the Cal State Bakersfield women’s soccer team.

The Salinas graduate earned a pair of starts, logging nearly 700 minutes on the pitch, producing her first collegiate assist against Fresno State.

The 5-foot-7 midfielder logged a season high 60 minutes in a match against Cal State Northridge, while registering eight shots on goal during the season.

Vega-Aguilar logged 38 minutes for Bakersfield in its Big West Conference quarterfinals season-ending loss to Cal State Fullerton.

Salinas’ all-time scoring leader, Vega-Aguilar scored 64 goals during her four seasons, while compiling 29 assists. She was an all-leaguer all four years, earning the Gabilan Division’s Offensive Player of the Year honor in 2023 as a sophomore.
