A 52-year-old man charged with two counts of grand theft is set to appear in court Friday with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department seeking the public’s help to identify additional victims.

Brian Raydele Collins used a position of trust and cultivated friendships with several people who he approached with business proposals or acting as a broker for available rental properties or sporting event tickets while in the Carson area, according to the department.

Collins was arrested on Nov. 16. and is being held in custody in lieu of $180,000 bail, the department announced. He was charged Tuesday by the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office with two counts of grand theft
