BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A 31-year-old Bakersfield man was arrested then posted bail after he was found with 30 pounds of meth, $14,000 in cash, firearms and more.

Kern County District Attorney’s Office Investigators and assisting agencies served a search warrant in the 4000 block of O Street on Dec. 4, according to the District Attorney’s office.

During the search of the apartment and a storage room, officers found over 30 pounds of methamphetamine, two handguns, $14,000 in cash and evidence of drug sales.

Officials with the DA’s office said he was arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a firearm and drug-related charges. He posted bail the same day.

The Kern County District Attorney’s Office is set to determine a filing decision prior to the arraignment slated to take place in late December.
