Congressman Erick Swalwell received an endorsement from his colleague, Central Coast Congressman Jimmy Panetta. In a statement, Panetta said, “Now is the time for Eric Swalwell to be our Governor in California. I’ve known him since we worked together as young prosecutors seeking justice. As my colleague in Congress, Eric seeks just solutions for California’s working families by increasing affordable housing, protecting immigrant families, preserving our environment, preventing wildfires, promoting our agriculture, technological innovation, and small businesses, and more. A new Emerson College Polling/Inside California Politics survey found Republican Chad Bianco (13%), Republican Steve Hilton (12%), Democrat Eric Swalwell (12%), and Democrat Katie Porter (11%) leading the primary field.
