The official start of winter is less than two weeks away, but it won’t feel like it this week across San Diego County, where daytime high temperatures will be far above average, the National Weather Service says.

Light-to-moderate Santa Ana winds will blow on and off at least through Thursday, keeping the marine layer offshore. The winds will not produce an elevated risk of wildfire, says San Diego Gas & Electric.

San Diego’s daytime high is expected to be 71 on Monday, 77 on Tuesday, 74 on Wednesday and Thursday, and 73 on Friday. The seasonal high is 67.
