The Brewster family is once again transforming their home into a winter wonderland, bringing holiday cheer to the neighborhood with a dazzling light show. The Brewsters have been hosting this festive display for six years, and this year promises to be a unique experience with new comedy skits and musical selections.

Kevin Brewster, dressed in a festive suit, expressed his excitement about the annual event. “We’re really excited. This is our six-year-old free show, something different,” he said. The show features four full songs and five talking comedy sections, with music synchronized to a radio channel for visitors to enjoy from their cars.

Rachel Brewster shared that every year they choose one non-Christmas song to be part of the light show, and this year they chose “Golden,” from Netflix movie the K-Pop Demon Hunters. “The movie was really popular this year. Everywhere we go, kids are singing it,” she said.

The light show runs nightly at 6 p.m., with the last show starting at 8:30 p.m. on weekdays and 9 p.m. on weekends. The display will continue through New Year’s, depending on crowd turnout.

While the Brewster Family Light Show is free to experience, the Brewsters kindly accepts donations through their gofundme campaign for those who would like to support. The donations go towards the all of the decor and lights to build a bigger show each year.

Visitors can experience the holiday magic at 11512 Tagus Drive in southwest Bakersfield.
