(FOX40.COM) — Several people who were hanging out in Downtown Sacramento were arrested after police said they caught them with loaded guns and a large amount of marijuana.

On Nov. 28, bike officers with the Sacramento Police Department said they were patrolling downtown when they observed a person openly smoking weed. After speaking with the suspect and during a search of his belongings, officers found a loaded gun.

Deputies dismantle major California drug trafficking ring based in Yuba County, 14 arrests

According to SPD, officers searched a second person associated with the suspect and found another loaded gun and marijuana. Next, a third person associated was also arrested.

SPD said it traced the three suspects back to a nearby vehicle. There, police reportedly found more marijuana and drug paraphernalia, believed to be used for drug sales. Video footage from SPD’s body camera shows the interactions in part.

All three suspects were arrested and face. multiple drug and firearm-related charges.
