BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — Kern County and District 3 Supervisor Jeff Flores celebrated with the community Friday morning at the grand reopening of Stramler Park.
The park, part of the Metro Recreation Complex on Chester Avenue, has been revitalized with over $2.3 million from the American Rescue Plan Act.
New features include retractable shade canopies, activity courts, upgraded accessible parking, and enhanced lighting at the Metro BMX track.
