Stolen ambulance joyride ends in a crash in Selma

FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — A person was arrested after an ambulance was stolen from Fresno and crashed in Selma, police say.

An American Ambulance was stolen in the city of Fresno and traveled northbound on Highway 41 to Selma.

Authorities were able to track the ambulance and intercept it.

However, the ambulance ran a red light, hit another car, and overturned.

The person was taken into custody.
