FRESNO, Calif. – Fresno State senior center Jacob Spomer has been named a second team Group of Five All-American by HERO Sports, announced on Friday. Spomer was Fresno State’s starting center in each game this season, making the transition from tackle to center this year. He was the highest rated center overall in the Mountain West and had the highest pass blocking rating among Mountain West centers this season, according to Pro Football Focus.
