FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — Fresno Unified School District will offer free meals to children aged 1-18 during the winter break.

Meals will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at schools hosting winter sessions.

The free meals must be eaten on site and cannot be taken to go.

The program will run from December 23rd through January 9th at Bullard High School, McLane High School, and Sunnyside High School.

Superintendent Misty Her emphasized the initiative’s importance, stating, “School meals play a critical role in supporting our students’ well-being, and we’re proud to ensure that free, nutritious meals remain available to every child during the winter break.”
