Brian Walshe was awaiting sentencing after pleaded guilty to federal charges of an elaborate scheme to defraud the owner of the Sunset Boulevard art gallery Revolver when he killed his wife Ana while their three children slept

Brian Walshe, a Massachusetts convicted conman accused of killing and dismembering his wife while awaiting federal sentencing in connection with an elaborate scheme to defraud the owner of the Sunset Boulevard art gallery owner has been found guilty of first-degree murder.

Ana Walshe, 39, who shared three children with her husband, vanished on Jan. 1, 2023, at the age of 39. Walshe pleaded guilty last month, ahead of the trial, to lying to police following her disappearance and improperly disposing of her body, though he denies he killed his wife and has pleaded not guilty to murder.

Ana Walshe’s body has not been found. Investigators’ belief that her husband had dismembered her in the basement of their mansion in tony Cohasset, MA was first reported by Los Angeles.

When Walshe killed Anna, prosecutors told the jury, he was facing a $450,000 fine and prison time connected to the fraud he attempted to pull off against Ron Rivlin, owner of the Revolver Gallery in West Hollywood, with the sale of two Warhol paintings that were fakes.
