BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying a man accused of breaking into a vehicle and stealing a purse.
Police said it happened on August 23, 2025, in the 6600 block of Ming Avenue.
The man allegedly stole a large tan purse that contained information for the victim, credit cards, and a black Apple iPhone 16E.
The suspect is described as a man in his 30’s, about 5’7” to 5”9” tall, and with a medium build.

He has short, black hair and a beard, and was wearing light grey shorts and black shoes.
Police said the suspect’s vehicle is a white Nissan 4-door sedan.
