A semi trailer overturned at the eastbound Riverside (91) Freeway and the Costa Mesa (55 ) Freeway connector Tuesday, delaying early morning traffic in Anaheim.

California Highway Patrol officers responded at approximately 2:45 a.m. Tuesday to the freeway connector where they found the fully loaded semi on its side, blocking three lanes of the 91 freeway, the CHP reported.

A SigAlert was issued by the CHP, blocking all lanes of the freeway connector for two hours. According to reports from the scene, the driver was not injured in the crash.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, NBC 4 reported.
