A pair of the best offensive performers in college football will be on show when Bryson Barnes and the Utah State Aggies (3-3) take on Danny Scudero and the San Jose State Spartans (2-4) on Friday, October 17, 2025.

The Aggies enter the matchup after losing 44-26 to the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors in their last outing on Oct. 12. The Spartans’ most recent game ended in a 35-28 loss to the Wyoming Cowboys. Barnes threw for 175 yards, with one touchdown and one interception on 14-of-26 passing (53.8%) for the Aggies in that matchup against the Rainbow Warriors. He also added 12 carries for 64 yards. Miles Davis carried the ball 15 times for 102 yards (6.8 yards per carry) with one touchdown on the ground. He added three receptions for 12 yards. Braden Pegan had 84 yards on three catches (28.0 per reception) in that game. Walker Eget threw for 295 yards for the Spartans against the Cowboys, going 23-for-37 (62.2%) with four touchdowns and no interceptions. Lamar Radcliffe carried the ball seven times for 29 yards (4.1 yards per attempt). Scudero picked up 180 yards through the air after 10 catches (on 24 targets), with four touchdowns.
