Sacramento Republic FC on Tuesday released its full schedule for the 2026 season, along with group stage information for the USL Cup tournament.The Republic will kick off its season at home for the third straight year, this time playing defending Western Conference Champion FC Tulsa on Saturday, March 7. Sacramento has won its season opener for the past 11 years. Twenty-two of the matches will be against teams in the Western Conference. Sacramento will face six Eastern Conference teams, including against new USL Championship clubs Brooklyn FC on April 21 and Sporting Club Jacksonville on Aug. 1. The in-season Prinx Tires USL Cup, which last year was called the USL Jägermeister Cup, will feature the Republic starting in the group stage. They’ll face USL League One side Spokane Velocity FC at home on April 25 and then away against regional rivals Oakland Roots SC on May 16. The tournament then has the Republic taking on Monterey Bay FC on June 6 at home before a road match against League One debutant Athletic Club Boise on July 11.As for the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, the club will enter in the first round with a match day between March 17 and 19, according to a Republic spokesperson. They won’t know the opponent and venue until sometime in January. This will mark the Republic’s 13th season. The team finished second in its conference earlier this year and as a finalist in the USL Jägermeister Cup.Sacramento has announced several signings in recent days.
