(FOX40.COM) — A police chase that happened near Cal Expo on Tuesday afternoon ended after several vehicles were struck, resulting in two arrests, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.

Around 5:07 p.m., SCSO said it was involved in a pursuit near Challenge Way and Exposition Boulevard with known gang members and associates. According to SCSO, the driver led them on a short chase and struck several civilian vehicles.

Deputies said no one was injured during the pursuit. However, detectives recovered two illegal firearms with extended magazines. Two people were arrested, and one remains outstanding.
