SAN DIEGO – San Diego State’s Taylor Underwood (Norco, Calif./Norco HS/DePaul) and Campbell Hague (Cheney Kan./Cheney HS) were named to the CSC Academic All-District Women’s Volleyball Team for their combined performances in the classroom and on the court, as announced Tuesday by College Sports Communicators, formerly known as the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

To be eligible for nomination to the 2025 CSC Academic All-District Women’s Volleyball Team, candidates must have competed in 90 percent of the team’s sets played during the season or started in two-thirds of the team’s scheduled matches while maintaining a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher.

In her final season with the Aztecs, Underwood earned her third consecutive all-Mountain West honor after leading the team with 4.06 points and 3.68 kills per set against conference opponents during the 2025 campaign. For all matches, the senior opposite hitter topped the squad with 3.77 points and 3.47 kills per set, both of which ranked seventh in the league.

Thanks to her 13 put-aways at Grand Canyon on Nov. 6, Underwood surpassed the 1,000-kill plateau in an SDSU uniform after transferring from DePaul in 2023. With 364 kills this season, she became the first SDSU player to record 300 put-aways in three straight years since Deja Harris (2016-18).

Earlier in the 2025 campaign, Underwood posted her 1,000th career kill against LSU at the Flo Hyman Classic on Sept. 5 in Houston, Texas. As a collegian, she has blasted 1,318 kills across four seasons, including 264 as a freshman at DePaul in 2022.

Underwood is majoring in psychology at San Diego State and has maintained a 3.60 cumulative GPA.

Meanwhile, Hague enjoyed her finest season as an Aztec in 2025, leading the team with 88 blocks, while ranking second with a .255 hitting percentage and 30 service aces, all of which marked career highs. In addition, the junior middle blocker finished fourth on the team with 155 kills and contributed 69 digs, both of which represented collegiate bests as well.

Hague surpassed the double-digit kill plateau on four occasions this past season, highlighted by a career-high 12 put-aways at Long Beach State on Sept. 13. She also collected three or more blocks in 18 matches, featuring a collegiate-best seven rejections at New Mexico on Nov. 8.

On Sept. 6, Hague served up a career-high four aces against Omaha at the Flo Hyman Classic in Houston, Texas, which was tied for the 12th-best total in the conference during the regular season.

A communication major, Hague owns a 3.74 cumulative GPA.

With Underwood’s and Hague’s assistance, San Diego State secured its second straight berth in the Mountain West Championship in 2025, highlighted by a first-round sweep of Wyoming.

The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes volleyball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
