BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for help to identify a man who allegedly brandished a firearm at convenience store staff after he was denied extra plastic bags.
Police released surveillance video images Wednesday of the incident that occurred on Nov. 30 at around 6:50 a.m. at the AMPM in the 1800 block of East Brundage Lane.

Officials said the man asked store staff for extra plastic bags, but when he was denied, he lifted his jacket showing a gun. Police were called and the suspect fled the scene.
The suspect was described a male in his mid-20s to early-30s with a slim build. He was seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the word “Thrasher” in yellow lettering, “Adidas-style” pants and white shoes.
