BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — A 43-year-old Tehachapi Unified School District employee was arrested Tuesday for allegedly inappropriately touching at least two underage victims on campus and possession of child pornography, said the Tehachapi Police Department.

Timothy Seaman, of Tehachapi, was arrested on Dec. 16, 2025, following an investigation into the physical education teacher. According to a parent who contacted Tehachapi police, an underage victim was inappropriately touched by the teacher on campus.

A second victim was also allegedly inappropriately touched by the man on campus, officers later learned. In late November 2025, police were notified of the alleged actions.

On Dec. 10, 2025, Tehachapi police detectives served a search warrant in the city, seizing several cell phones and devices. The devices were turned over to the Department of Homeland Security and the United States Secret Service in Bakersfield for assistance in recovering potential evidence related to the case.

In the extraction of the information from the devices, evidence was recovered, including proof of possession and distribution of child pornography.

On Dec. 16, 2025, with assistance from the Porterville Police Department, Seaman was found in the 1900 Block of Pamela Court in the City of Porterville. He was taken into custody without incident. Tehachapi police responded to Porterville and took him into custody.
