A man suffered a minor injury from a stray round fired during a fight involving three people in Long Beach, authorities said Wednesday.

Officers were dispatched at about 5:20 p.m. Tuesday to the shooting in the 1000 block of Redondo Avenue, the Long Beach Police Department reported.

A woman and a man — who police described as a suspect — were involved in fight when a second man fired a shot striking an uninvolved man, who was nearby, police said.

“The victim sustained a minor injury and was treated at the scene by LBFD (Long Beach Fire Department),” according to a police statement. “Both suspects were taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing.”
