STATION SALES

West Palm Beach-Boca Raton, FL – Ketlande Felix-Veillard’s Glory to El Shaddai Radio Stations has filed a $600,000 deal to buy ethnic “Radio Nouvelle Lumiere” WPBR (1340) from Sam Rogatinsky’s Palm Beach Radio Group. The deal also includes the Twentymile Bend, FL-licensed translator W248CK at 97.5 FM. Glory to El Shaddai Radio Stations will operate the station under a local marketing agreement until closing. It doesn’t own any other stations. Once the sale closes, Palm Beach Radio Group will still own stations in Miami, Tampa and Orlando.

Fresno-Visalia, CA – Don and Shelly Groppetti’s Momentum Broadcasting has filed a $400,000 deal to buy “La Ley 94.5 FM and 1370 AM” KGEN-FM & AM from JA Ventures. Momentum Broadcasting already owns classic rock KIOO (99.7), country KJUG (106.7), and AC KVMI (1270) in the market. Once the sale closes, JA Ventures will still own oldies KTIP (1450) in Fresno. North Carolina – K-Love has filed a $92,000 deal to buy contemporary Christian “Go Mix Radio Network” affiliate WGTL, La Grange, NC (88.3) from Pathway Christian Academy. The signal will help fill-in K-Love’s map in the region, covering an area to the southeast of the Raleigh market.

Wilkes Barre-Scranton-Hazleton, PA – AFB Community Solutions Organization has filed a $5,000 deal to buy adult alternative WMLD (88.1) from Telikoja Educational Broadcasting.

Oklahoma – VSS Catholic Communications has filed a one dollar deal to buy religious KEUC, Ringwood, OK (104.9) and religious KOEG, Walters, OK (88.3) from Oklahoma Catholic Broadcasting. VSS Catholic Communications currently owns nine “Spirit Catholic Radio Network” stations in Nebraska.

Washington – Ruth’s House of Hope has filed to donate KGTC, Oroville, WA (88.3) to Valley Christian Fellowship of Oroville. The station is currently off the air.

TRANSLATOR SALES

Alaska – Alaska Village Missions has filed a $15,000 deal to buy the Seward-Woodrow, AK-licensed translator K236CC at 95.1 FM from Gary Rose’s Turquoise Broadcasting. Under the terms of the deal, Rose will make a $5,000 tax deductible donation to Alaska Village Missions following the closing. An application will also be filed to change city of license to Ninilchik, AK and change the frequency to 95.3 FM. Alaska Village Missions plans to replace the simulcast of Peninsula Radio Group’s adult alternative “K-Wave” KWVV to Moody Radio religious programming. Alaska Village Missions already owns KAVM, Cold Bay, AK (105.1) and several translators in the state.

New York – Hudson Valley Public Radio has filed a $6,000 deal to buy the Hyde Park, NY-licensed translator W213AC at 90.5 FM from Loam Media. The noncommercial arm of Neversink Media will relay the Hudson Valley market jazz WJZZ (88.1) on the translator.

Monterey-Salinas-Santa Cruz, CA – Pacifica Foundation files to donate the Monterey, CA-licensed translator K232FZ at 94.3 FM to Common Communications Southern California. The filing says the signal will continue to relay “Pacifica Radio” KPFA San Francisco.

Bryan-College Station, TX – Pacifica Foundation has filed to donate the Goodrich, TX-licensed translator K212FV at 90.3 FM to Brazos Educational Radio. It will simulcast variety KEOS (89.1) on the signal.

Monterey-Salinas-Santa Cruz, CA – Pacifica Foundation has filed to donate the Santa Cruz, CA-licensed translator K248BR at 97.5 FM to the Boulder Creek Recreation & Parks District. It will relay variety “Boulder Creek Community Radio” KBCZ on the signal.

California – One Ministries has filed a one dollar deal to buy the Redding, CA-licensed translator K268AJ at 101.5 FM from Loam Media. One Ministries will continue to relay religious “Family Radio” KHAP (89.1) on the signal.

CLOSINGS

Panama City, FL – John Caracciolo’s JVC Broadcasting has closed a $1.25 million deal to buy adult hits “105.9 The Wave” WILN-FM (105.9), classic country “Wild Willie 100.1” WWLY, “News Talk 101 FM” WYOO and rock “97X” WYYX from Don McCoy’s Magic Broadcasting. The deal includes $250,000 in seller financing with a promissory note to paid out over a 24-month period. JVC Broadcasting already owns a cluster in the Florida Panhandle with a four-station group in the Fort Walton Beach, FL market. It also owns stations in the Gainesville, FL and Long Island, NY markets. Magic Broadcasting still owns “Real Talk 93.3” WVFT in the Tallahassee market. Broker: Doyle Hadden of Hadden Assoc. Wilkes Barre-Scranton, PA – K-Love has closed a $200,000 deal to buy WVLY-FM (100.9) from Michael Radio Group. The station is currently silent. K-Love already owns contemporary Christian “K-Love” affiliate WKBP (95.9) in the market.
